Join us this summer (2023) for a week of basketball skills clinics ran and taught by experienced local coaches. Both weeks will include 5 full days of fun and competitive basketball suitable for all skill levels.

Basketball Skills & Fundamentals

We will teach and practice the fundamentals of basketball tailored to the player's skill level and experience. Shooting, dribbling, defense, passing, offensive moves, etc.

Speed, Agility & Conditioning

A key part of basketball is being able to keep up with the athleticism and physicality of the game. We will run through basic strength, conditioning, speed, and agility drills that directly correlate to improving athletic ability as a baketball player .

Coachability & Game KNOWLEDGE

A huge part of the game that many people neglect to talk about is the importance of coachability, work-ethic, and sportsmanship. Every day after lunch (for the full day players), we will have a short lecture from an experienced coach or player on these topics.

Key Details

  • Two divisions: Pro - rising 8th & 9th graders; College - rising 6th & 7th graders
  • Daily shooting/skills competitions with a clinic winner in each division
  • Fundamental skills and drills each day
  • Daily strength, conditioning, speed, and agility lessons (full day players only)
  • Short educational lectures by different coaches and college/varsity players (full day players only)
  • Players will be split into 3v3 or 4v4 teams and there will be competitive games daily. We will finish with playoffs and each division will have a winning team (full day players only)
  • Each player will be provided a team t-shirt (full day players only)
  • Last day (Friday) we will give out awards for shooting competitions, team winners, and other awards for each division
  • FULL DAY players please bring a lunch with you as we will have lunch from 12pm-1pm every day.
  • There will be drinks and snacks available for purchase

Head Coaches

DAVE ROBINSON

Dave grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut and had an extremely successful high school varsity career and went on to play college basketball.

Dave has over 10 years of basketball coaching experience training professionals, collegiate, and youth athletes. Coached and trained the number one leading scorer of all of Cape Cod (17th in MA history).

He is the Head of Player Development at Sims Basketball Academy in Sandwich, MA as well as a coach and athletic assistant at Cape Cod Academy.

MORGAN KENDREW

Morgan grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from Barnstable High School in 2008. She is a BHS Hall of Famer and holds the all-time leading scoring record for both boys & girls. Morgan went on to play collegiate basketball at Brandeis University and had a very successful career including an NCAA Elite 8 appearance and UAA all-conference honors. She graduated in 2012.

After graduating from Brandeis, she coached NCAA college basketball for four years before moving onto her current career as a personal trainer/fitness coach. She now runs her own fitness coaching business and trains athletes of all ages. Morgan is an ACSM certified personal trainer.
